Raising Dollars to Raise Hope! The 1st Annual Hope for Savannah Rummage Sale was a huge success. Thanks to all volunteers, local community sponsors and donations for all your support and help. They raised over $5,000.00 for families with health needs in our community.

I was driving this morning thinking about all the fall activities going on in the area and I passed by this local pumpkin patch in South Effingham. I just had to turn around and share this with all of you. Its at Bethesda United Methodist Church. 3608 Midland Rd. Guyton, GA. directions are I-95 North to exit 109. Turn left onto highway 21. Then left onto highway 30 (piedmonth highway), turn right on Midland Rd a few miles on your left you cannot miss it. Hayrides, bake sale, FREE moonwalk, AND great pumpkins! They also have hot dogs/drinks for 1.00 each. I’m sure they will be glad for your support and the kids will enjoy it also. Hours are Sunday – Friday 1-6 and Saturday 10-6.
Fall is definately in the air in Effingham county! Local businesses are displaying cute scarecrows,pumpkins, and fall decorations. I noticed many of these while driving to the local exchange club meeting so I snapped a quick picture. And just around the corner is the Effingham County fair! The weather has been great and we look forward to a wonderful time.
We attended the GAR (Georgia Association of Realtors) conference in Destin, FL. This was a great opportunity for us to network and get additional education. We have to say that it was the best decision as a team we have made in a while. The classes, motivational speaker, everything was fantastic. We are back in the office and ready to tackle what is next. We are implementing a few new ideas to our websites, keeping up with blogging 
. … and we know we are on target with our consumers. We also want to say a BIG thank you to the vendors that attended who gave us “freebies” we love those! We are looking forward to going again!
